There are a variety of reasons why the location detection may not be very
accurate. Please check the below requirements or refer to the device-specific
guides at the bottom.
Have the latest version of the app installed
Our development team is constantly working to improve location accuracy. The
latest version of the app would offer the best available location detection
technology.
Turn on location services (GPS) at all times
Having location services (GPS) turned on is the most basic setting for FCloud
to detect your location. Please make sure that it is enabled with all the
appropriate permissions given to FCloud.
Turn on high location accuracy settings on
your device
There are additional settings that allow even more accurate location detection.

Accuracy
Check that the internet connection is steady
Reliable internet access is required to avoid interruptions in location sharing
and history features.
- Turn on both WiFi and Data, regardless of which one you’re connected to
- Have data left in your wireless plan, if you don’t have unlimited data

Turn
off Low Power Mode or Battery Saver Mode
Depending on the device, the phone may shut down FCloud from running in the
background if a battery-preserving setting is turned on.
Have FCloud running in the background at
all times

Check your surroundings
Please note that accuracy also depends on your environment and
your phone. For instance, if you’re underground or have a very old phone, the
FCloud app will have difficulty sharing your precise location.
